Purchase model and updates

StudioCommander is designed as a one-time purchase. This page explains the free entry point with a fully usable Free version for one client or one project and the later move to Standard or Premium.

One-time purchase instead of subscriptions

StudioCommander deliberately uses one-time purchases instead of a recurring subscription model. When you buy Standard or Premium, you buy that edition once.

That matters especially for studios, where core operational software should not become yet another monthly fixed-cost block.

Start free, decide later

You can start for free without being stuck in a limited showcase. The Free version is fully usable as long as you work with exactly one client or one project.

The path from entry to purchase is intentionally low-friction: no payment details to start and no automatic shift into a subscription. When your setup grows, you move to Standard or Premium.

How updates fit into the model

Standard and Premium are clear purchase products. Updates and continued development are part of product maintenance without automatically turning the model into a subscription.

If you also want to understand which edition fits your work better, the Standard vs Premium comparison is the natural next step.
